AFP Chapter Meetings

Learn how to ELEVATE your practice and provide better care for transgender and gender-nonconforming (TGNC) patients.

Reasons you should attend include:

  • Your practice likely already includes TGNC patients
  • You will improve your clinical intake and management strategies
  • You will reduce health vulnerabilities for your TGNC patients
  • You will impact local HIV-prevention efforts for TGNC patients
  • Your patients will be more likely to remain in the HIV treatment continuum
  • You and your entire practice will become more welcoming to TGNC persons
  • Your practice will increase its visibility as a culturally competent care setting

This activity was developed for primary care physicians.

There are no fees for this activity.

Registration for these meetings are conducted by the individual chapters of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Please contact your local AFP chapter directly for more details.
